Any suggestions as to how to use this vitamin correctly? I have read that liver damage is possible and that doses of this should be regulated. But, I have also heard of cases where someone would take like 1000mg worth. Either way, the use of it seems ...

I have not heard of niacin....
It's alright at eliminating small LDL liver issues.
I take 1000mgs of niacin a day for cholesterol control reasons.
Wouldnt use niacin for weight loss.
Better off adjusting your diet and upping activity.

For the last month or so, I have felt something like the effect of niacin after I eat anything. It isn't just spicy foods nor carbs. It happens after I eat very much of anything. (Not half a dozen almonds. Has to be more than that I think.) It isn't unpleasant...
