But it's best to avoid saving stuff to the application folder...unless you meant Application Data folder .

It's a nice dark style that is very easy on my eyes .
I ported a version of VIM's inkpot color scheme to a .vssettings file a while back .
I am running a Mac Mini with OS X 10.6.2 as a HTPC on a 42" 1080p TV With Windows 7 it was trivial to make everything easier to read from the couch (icons, web browser, explorer etc). Is there a simple way to achieve the same goal on OS X?

That already, is the font listed in c:\windows\fonts\ okay? If it is, you might want to try removing it and then re-installing that font via the File > Install New Font...

There is already a question , by the way.
Then go back to the session and save it.
Do the same under Appearance for the font and size.
You need to go "Change Settings -> Window" and set it there.
