I would like to start a forem for those folks that have food allergies. I am celiac and it can be a challenge. My captain had devised a system aboard for those who suffer food allergies. any takers?

Most of the examples so far are food sensitivities, not allergies.
The after effect be specific.
Celiac isn't dramatic like peanut allergies.
And carry the epi pens when ordering food.

I have recently been told I have many many food allergies :-/
A very few of the allergies are dairy, all the wheats, soy, oats and corn. Do any of you have these allergies as well?
I am asking because I just don't know what to do for breakfast. Cereals...

Like you, I have food allergies they only began "showing up" about 15 years ago touch my tongue to the new food) I take 3 Benadryl (yes 3), and wash them down with a glass of cold it.
This helps.

What happens if someone in your party has food allergies? Do the dining rooms accomodate those people? Do we need to get a letter from the Dr.? How does something like that work?

I have a weird situation with my sister in law that makes travelling and going out for meals very difficult. She has got multiple food allergies that makes it near impossible for her to eat out, let alone vacation. She is actually turned away from restaurants...

Wow! i too have very bad food allergies: tomatoes, potatoes, tree nuts all fruit with a big seed dips.

Hi,
Thinking about traveling via autotrain but DS has peanut nut allergies.
Website says they do not accomadate and I called and they said the same thing.
Does anyone ahve any experiecne with this?

However, we went down to the lower and bringing your own food for the person in question to avoid any chance of exposure to other passengers' food....
For the unreserved lower seats would be best to stay away from food allergies.

No pain, but me food allergies keep getting worse, no matter how many pills I take or acupunctures, burning mouth, depression) and even create food allergies as your absorbtion of food is messed up sick.

Anyone been tested for food intolerance/allergies?
Partly because my Crohn's diagnosis doesn't explain all of my symptoms (I'm having a bad year medically, though, with the list including a brief bout with cancer, a long struggle with costochondritis)...

Too many things I'm allergic to , other than food, medications and purfumes!
