Can some one explain to me why going long time with out food is bad I read that people that have diabetes it is very bad if you go long time wth out food .

It's filler..
Plus, you have to think that if it won't decompose, then your body most likely isn't drawing much nutrition from it .
If it doesn't decompose, it's been highly processed.
