Looking at a Limited Model with AWD and can not decide on a 4 or v6 or just FWD, I live In Southeastern Michigan.
I Wanted to know If you happy with yours or have had problems,bad gas mileage etc...

Im looking for a new car and I really like both the ford focus and escape. I like the focus becuase it gets good gas milage and it has a more sporty look. I like the escape because its a smaller suv and it has good gas milege. But which one?? And why?...

The Ford highway.
It sounds horrible, it acts up, and you will try to get it replaced .
Alright giving it to you in a underpowered hatch.
And/or drive off-pavement, then perhaps an Escape might be more suitable.

We have a 2004 Ford Escape for sale. Runs excellent with no mechanical issues. Has the XLT package, optional V=6 motor, and all the options except leather seats...A/T- P/W-PDL-A/C-CC-AM-FM-CD-ABS-Power seat-and maybe a few options I cant think of right...

Factory oil filter is FL-820S.
I know that latest Escapes V6 (3.5L) use latest FL-500.
Can I use FL-500 on my Ford Escape 2006?
Does FL-500 (instead of FL-820S) have any advantages or disadvantages?
