Well i was given to me a Ford Explorer 2002 4dr and was thinking about lifting it up a bit, get some new tires and a dual exhaust. I have roughly 2500 to spend on this if i have a custom 4x4 shop do it. Do you think its manageable with that price range...

How many other ford autos have a engine that would be bolt in to a 95 explorer.
other than swapping a 2 to 4wd oil pan, or change from Manuel to auto trans.
other than that stuff, possibly looking for a bolt in.
im thinking rangers, explorers and maybe...

We had a 2009 ford explorer with 34,000 miles in the shop today with a ticking in the engine ford refused the warranty on the motor because the customer never ever changed the oil! this car had the original filter on it and the oil was like tar and black...

There are three basic parts of a car's cooling system - The water pump, thermostat, & the radiator .
Well, then the 'stat wasn't the problem.
Check your manual for how to get airlocks out of a cooling system .
This has "air-lock" written all over it.
