From what I hear....
In this case, Ford Aus would be footing the bill in some way or another by allowing interest free purchases like that.
However, we need to consider that Ford Aus isn't.

Could it be cheaper to finance a car rather than pay cash? I'm going to buy a car by myself and need some pointers. Never done this before.

I had no credit financing my first car, Ford F150, through Ford and came away with a 3.2 on the financing....
A minor break if you finance with them but typically you can get better financing terms outside of the investment.

When I bought my car on finance I don't remember being asked for my annual but finance etc...
Well car finance should be a little easier to get than say an unsecured loan as if you dont pay they can take back the car.
