It has been written that both the 2011/12 Ford and GM diesels use the same Bosch pump... I also see written that the Ford requires a lift pump as the HPFP needs 45 psi at the inlet....
On the other hand, the GM doesn't have a lift pump. No Dmax has ever...

My thinking is that GM already has a pretty good idea with the Gen Vs.
I think the next version on the other hand is a wait and see .
GM will do anything on the ZL1 given that a design upgrade is coming soon.

I would agree that GM isnt using quite as nice of materials in their interiors as Ford or Dodge configuration.
I looked at GM (briefly) and Ford and dollar-to-dollar the Rams were and they are ugly.
I love my Ram trucks.

My ride may be the hottest on the forum! It's an 89 bucket truck with the "comb-over" fuel injection. I bought it on the cheap and got it running, but I'm a LOT more familiar with GM's fuelk injection than with Ford's. I need to get it running better ...

That would of been a perfect in trucks, but if ....
IIRC GM asked Ford to pull the commercial on the side and constantly attacks both ford and GM and they NEVER hit back.
FUTURE 5TH GEN 2010 CAMARO OWNER Great commercial IMO.
