If you run into the problems as a newbie programmers can pick up any framework/language, but there are a lot of patterns unique to a framework, etc.
And the language (long list here, depending on which language you pick).

Do you need to understand a foreign language in order to appreciate music ? I don't speak French but I love listening to the music of Jacques Brel , Francoise Hardy , Paith etc...
I think that music transcends language barriers - don't have to speak French...

I find that learning more than your native language in this day and age is critical for the real world. Many jobs now are harder to find if you only spoke English, right? Even some of you on this board I believe that English is not your native language...
