which i've gone to every year so that's losing it's appeal

This is Ds's 2nd formal dance. For Homecoming, he bought tickets, dinner, corsage. His date's mom said usually the girls pay for pics, but we are photographers, so we did those too. All in all, we spent no more than $120 including his new shirt, tie etc...

One of us would get the tickets were that boys usually ask girls to dances and pay the expenses, in which case I would think.
Of the 1980s, my dates and I generally split expenses for high school dances.

Or moms of college girls Our town is very small, and there are not very many places to find dresses for winter formal or prom (and if you do there will be a lot of other girls wearing the same dress!)
