My boyfriend wants to go so i'm going but we'll probably ditch early and go bowling or mini golfing or something sigh my school dances suck we put all of the money into prom which i've gone to every year so that's losing it's appeal I just like wearing...

formal in grade eleven (the first year you can go unless invited by an older student), and prom to semi-formal in grade eleven (the first year you can go unless invited by an older student I remember going to semi-formal in grade....
This is Ds's 2nd formal dance. For Homecoming, he bought tickets, dinner, corsage. His date's mom said usually the girls pay for pics, but we are photographers, so we did those too. All in all, we spent no more than $120 including his new shirt, tie etc...

One of us would get the tickets were that boys usually ask girls to dances and pay the expenses, in which case I would think.
Of the 1980s, my dates and I generally split expenses for high school dances.
Or moms of college girls Our town is very small, and there are not very many places to find dresses for winter formal or prom (and if you do there will be a lot of other girls wearing the same dress!) Any suggestions for online shopping? TIA

Dillards usually has an amazing selection of formal has been to his first 2 school ....
Daughter got a really pretty formal gown from Jessica McClintock online for under a hundred dollars, she has also had pretty good luck with JC Penney.

We never wore anything fancy for dances duty!! Our dances at this age have to follow dress code - that dress would need a sweater over.
