I've seen it time and time again for years. A good or even star player gets 2 early fouls, then sits on the bench. Maybe a 3rd foul in the 2nd quarter, again, on the bench.
The player ends the game playing 10 minute less than his usual minutes, and finishes...

VCU total fouls 23. of the players that played, they average 16.9 per game so that's +6 ( rounded)
only one player had zero fouls--- Reddic, everybody else that stepped...

I reported the foul as the C official, came halfway across to tableside of court, reported foul, went back to original C position. Double bonus, end of game, closely contested game. L administers 1st FT which is successful. T official at scorers table...

I shot 10 rounds of the Remington 2 3/4 copper solids and four of them had the firing pin dimple fouled black. I scrapped one and it may be fractured but it is hard to tell even under my magnifying light. I have shot many brands/rounds with this frame...

My 09 500SS is running great mid range and on top. However when you come to a stop it starts fouling almost immediately. Sounds like it is on one cylinder and sometimes it takes just a second to get up and going and clean out...

I have 3000 miles on one sled running BR9ECS the 10's stock carb setting, it would foul just by looking at the sled!!! Here is the piston.
Its just looking for trouble.
