I can't play Dead island cause i'm having only 13-15FPS.
No matter it is on High or Low graphics. Low resolution doesnt help. Even when recording with fraps i have same 13-15FPS.
For short i can do whatever i want and i will not have mroe than 15FPS and...

And then try alt-tabbing away from DI but just so you can still see the Fraps fps....
It has nothing to do with process priority, as far as I can tell DI in windowed mode, with fraps on, to see the FPS.
Framerate cap, at around 15-17 FPS.

If it takes 1/45 of a second to draw a frame, then at the 1/60 of a second mark, the previous frame will be redisplayed.....
You'd get 45 fps, but the system is slowing it down to 30 fps, to achieve a smooth frame ahead.

Unless the core clock isn't being read right by 3dmark, your video card is running at like 1/3rd the normal speed. Verify your gpu clock with GPU-Z.

So I looked up the benchmark scores for an HD 6850 and it says on crysis 1920X1200: it runs at 24.1-36.1 FPS. Are these playable FPS?
And if I overclocked the gpu would it make a difference and by how much?

Great question.
I always felt that 25+fps was pretty smooth/playable on Crysis, possibly due performance.
Settings to boost FPS though.
