I have two kayaks for sale too if anybody wants them .
But it a deep blue tank you could find it online if you want to know what it looks like it only had water was from my tank I had before I moved to Miami.
So if I had a 100gal tank divided 1/2 way down the center. 50 gal. QT and 50gal Frag Tank. Would it be OK to plumb them together with one sump?

Sid, Thanks for the reply This Frag/QT tank, if there are any fish in the frag tank, OR corals in the QT tank, possible illnesses, ailments in the frag....
From crossing from one to another.

My girl wants to start a frag tank, so I was thinking this is my chance at a sump. Would a sump/frag tank work. What are the advantages/disadvantages?

I have a 30x22x12 tank that I want to run as a frag tank. I have seen frag tanks with a sand bed and some without. Just wanted to know what recommendations are. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Sounds like less work.
I see no need for sand in a frag tank Thanks for responses-BB it will be.
It makes it easy to clean up just keep a powerhead blowing on the bottom of the tank.
I am keeping my frag tank BB.

I am starting up a 120g frag tank with 40g breeder sump. I have 40lb of cured LR already so how much more do I need? This will be for an SPS dominated frag tank.

It is in the way! If it is a true frag tank, why do you want or need rock anyway? Keep as much rock as possible in the sump and the....

I also want to use my sand in the refugium and in the tank my rock, at one point I want to transfer my firefish into the frag tank (clowns are bully's), so JBJ Nano HQI....
The nassarius snails in the RSM and Frag tank.
So I have a 30g L sump/refuge, a 40G breeder, and a 39g high. I wanted to turn the breeder into a frag tank and the 39g into a SH tank. I thought it would be cool if I could plumb it all together to have a nice water volume that would be easier to maintain...

First, the seahorses may or may not handle the tank and have read some of your posts/website....
If your frag tank is going to have sps corals, they don't do well in seahorse tanksIt's possible, just not probably successful.
