To have more of the skater inside the frame, the ''fisheye effect'' isn't really an effect, it's just inside the frame, the ''fisheye effect'' isn't really an effect, it's just a wide angle lens usedThere probably is, but ....
New circular fisheye from Sunex. Looks nice, I may have to add one to the bag. http://www.kenrockwell.com/sunex/super-fisheye.htm

Let us know out the settings in PTgui for some fisheye photos.
Especially the comparison between full-frame DSLR and newer DX-size image sensors ...

Hello everybody! I'm lusting for a circular fisheye... but I have very limited knowledge about this kind of lenses. I've heard about Sigma 8mm f/3.5 EX DG Circular Fisheye - Nikon AF-D FX. Is this a good lens? Anyone with personal experience? Is there...

When you cut off the built in light baffle, the lens becomes a circular ....
It doesn't fill the frame, so youAnother option is modifying a 10.5mm DX fisheye lens.
Well, sort of.
The lens becomes a circular fisheye on an FX body.
Santa brought me the Sony Fisheye conversion lens for my 5n for Christmas - having lots of fun with it so far. dpr://galleries/3637366311/photos/1668833 Lancaster, PA car park dpr://galleries/3637366311/photos/1668849 Loved the 5n with fisheye as a second...

I have the wide angle adapter, but I guess I can't figure out whether I like the fisheye look Nikon system I always wanted....
I can't decide whether to get the fisheye lens with my 16.
Enjoy.

I'm having trouble understanding what designates a lens as a fisheye lens if the focal length is the same as (or can be the same as) a wide-angle lens. For example - the NIKKOR 10.5mm f/2.8G ED AF DX is a Fisheye, the same with the 16mm f/2.8D. Why not...

Even the 14mm f/2.8 is just will be recti-linear (maintains straight... .
Hey jdeg, the difference is the zoom lens is not a true fisheye because at the 10mm setting it does cover the required 180 degrees to be considered a true fisheye lens.
Anyone ever done a fisheye/ body wideness comparison? it would be cool if people posted their set up (if they had multiple crop bodies/ fill frame) and also used multiple lens (many brand 8mm/ canon/sigma 15mm) u get me?

All Nikon 1.5x crop bodies....
Like how people do vx1000mk1 vs it out.
What're you talking about haha? like if you were to put an fx fisheye on a dx body/viceversa? Quote the distortion/ wideness looks like on different crop bodies and fisheye.
Hi everyone, Since I purchased the Macro lens after that discussion (actually I didn't because the price went up higher and higher as I started to look into Tonika 100mm macro and I got side tracked into looking at fisheye lenses now DOH), I've read great...

What kind of a fisheye you are looking for actually? The 8mm Sigma is a /circular/ fisheye on FX, meaning you get the whole image circle on black background inside the FX frame, see http://www.sigmaphoto.com/shop/8mm-f35-ex-dg-circular....
I’m looking for a better performer in low light than my Samyang 8mm at f/3.8. I’ve done a series of f/3.8 focus tests using the Samyang on my Nikon D7000 and always get images that are quite soft compared to f/8. Is the Nikon 10.5mm lens sharp at f/2....
