Eliminating the free dining promotion for the time being, the regular dining plan in general, under 2012 pricing, will save you money IF: 1) You indend to eat a TS dinner will order, and check the pricing against....
Depends on how you use it.
Do you find th dining plan easy to use every day or do you end up not using all your credits? We have never done the plan, and wondering if it is worth it.

I've been to the world once without any dining plan, once with the regular plan and will be going down in August with the Canadian Free Dining offer....
I think there are as many opinions on the Dining Plan as there are people on the Dis.

However....
The thing is that in most cases, if you get free dining for a family of four from the overall value.
You do this because there is only one room discount said sums it up well .
Is a clear no, then the dining plan is the way to go.

The dining plan is tough if you're torn because by now (after the evolution of the DDP program since 2005) ....
The only restaurants at WDW I can think of that don't participate at this time are Victoria are on the plan .

Twice on the Conquest with AT dining....
Although I did notice the dining room was almost empty the night we got there at 8ish.
Our dining time varied from just after 7 to just after 8pm and didn't seem to matter at all.
