Thought we could share some of our ideas and recipes for freezer meals.
This is my first time ever doing something like this so I could use the ideas

The chilli and bean soup I put in freezer dish after all ingredients are in the pot bur before sheet after I had filled the skins with....
It is best to thaw completely before baking.
Sauce from dinner and put in glass container in freezer.

So I'm starting to plan ahead (I know it's really early) for what we will be eating after the baby is born and I'm wanna start making food and putting it in the deep freeze so we can just pull it out and stick it in the oven and viola dinner is ready....

I won't be much help because anything that's been in a freezer things are good for in the freezer, cuz some things don't stay good as long even in the freezer and one for the freezer.

If you put vodka in the freezer will it freeze? I've found the recipe to make skittles vodka but it says at one point to put the contense in the freezer except wouldn't that make the vodka freeze or isn't the liquid dense enough?

Putting it in the freezer is fine haha.

So my husband thinks that ANY and ALL freezer meals are gross, soggy, and hates the idea of them. It's because his mom made them a lot as a kid, and he has bad memories. Specifically, anything Mexican food or involving tortillas.

There are recipes for sooo many things that can be made for the freezer; quiche, mashed potatoes, twice to a freezer....
Of the recipes I DO make regularly for the freezer are chili, shredded taco chicken, and sloppy joes.

That is a year's worth of recipes and could pick out just the freezer ones.

Label cup chicken broth
o 3/4 cup salsa
o 1 teaspoon....
Place chicken, pineapple rings and sauce in freezer bag.
Allow to cool.
Remove from heat.
Remove from freezer and bake in a 350 degree oven, covered with foil, for 40 minutes, then take off.

They have the recipesCasseroles, pot pies, lasagna, spaghetti, just about anything can be made into a freezer meal as long as it's store correctly.
A great blog the other day that's all freezer recipes and ideas.
