For the summer time of 2012 Ill be heading to the French Alps for some kayaking.
It will be around June time, exact dates TBC. However, probably leave on a Friday arrive Saturday and stay the week boating.
Grades are 1-4 (5). Accommodation, Ill be staying...

Unlike last year when at the end of Jan most of the snow in the Ecrin had melted .
Highs are only up -10c.
Hautes Alpes (Durance area) Low are down to -20c.
What's really important is tempretures in the Alpine regions are staying very low .

For comments on the French Alps that I know a bit where you can pick up superb bike routes into Switzerland.
There are no (Switzerland) or hardly any bicycle paths (France) .
