I've tried recently to cash in a couple of frequent flier awards and have found with increasing frequency that the flights I want when I want them are rarely available. If I am lucky, I might find a redeye or a connecting flight but as a non-million miles...

I've got over 200,000 American Airlines Frequent Flyer miles and find no seats are available for my Nov 2012 Hawaii trip. Guess I should have started trying exactly 11 months prior to travel dates.

The frequent flyer program not recommend this card to anyone as there are better cards that offer the frequent flyer program.
Purchases that you repay quickly (as not to gain huge interest) .
