Why is fresh fruit zero points but like 6 dried apricot halves are 1 point. Isn't fruit, fruit, no matter how you slice it?

WW has declared fresh fruit to be zero points the points value of 1....
Neither is 0.
Similarly, fruit juice is less filling because it lacks fiber.
Dried fruit isn't as filling as fresh because it has less volume.

I just bought a juicer after watching the documentary "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" on Netflix. I know that store bought juices are not PF, but do you think fresh fruit juice that I make at home with a juicer - no additives - is a PF?

Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at weightwatchers):
Only fresh fruit in a PF.
When you juice a piece of fruit, you are basically extracting the water and sugar from it and leaving behind all the fiber.
No juice, whether fresh or store bought, is a PF.

I like to bottle fresh fruit and vegetables. Where and when are the best places to buy peaches, pears, apples, etc in large quantities. Do any of you have your own fruit trees? Have you had much success growing your own veggies to bottle? TIA
