Mushy peas! ive soaked them overnight,rinsed them, then poured fresh water to them, added added vinegar, honey,sea salt & black pepper! 11 hours and they're still not mushing!!!! HELP! thanks squirt!

The field pea is a small version of the cowpea; the somewhat larger Crowder pea and Blackeyed pea....
Pretty good! Diane, Your description sounds like fresh field peas-- dried they look like small blackeyed peas.

You could probably find an actual recipe online somewhere.
Put in peas, simmer some more.
peas 2 tbsp water 1 1/2 tsp garam masala 1 tsp paprika 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro salt and pepper, simmer a while.

The fresh look and bright colors! Awesome! This is fun! It's only my second LOAD and I love how much, but there's no time to look at all those layouts every day.
I was wondering how moms who make your own baby food buy the peas? Frozen, canned or fresh? I really don't want to have to deal with splitting the pods and digging the peas out so was wondering if buying frozen peas and steaming them would still be good...

I have also used frozen peas I use frozen Peas mixed with carrots I used frozen too..

I make her baby food from fresh veggies, but bought peas organic and frozen since I couldnt find those fresh- I could not find salt free!! What do you do? I soaked and rinsed, think thats ok?

X I didn't know frozen peas had salt :s I thought they were just peas! Dont think there....
I dont add any salt to any of her food so i see no problem .
Anyone? Is a small amount of salt ok since they are rinsed? i just rinse peas off..

For that job? If you wanted to mention what type of job it is, perhaps Peas might know what the same job pays as your DH who started out at least $60K, fresh from the Air Force - 20+ years ago!!! I know.
