Does anyone have a recipe? It can't include dairy, bacon, thyme, basil, or
tarragon. I can use olive oil or if necessary, Nucoa margarine. For my
family the plainer the better. I had some in a restaurant that I loved but
they were loaded with black pepper...

Really, that's the best way to keep them fresh.
I would suggest that you invest in a heat-sealer, and pop your beans into a foil valve-bag as soon as possible.

Green beans fresh off the boat any ideas of suggestions on how to purchase green coffee beans w/o going through a middleman. I guess you just can't stand around and wait for the ship to come in but you must be able to buy as close to c-market as possible...
