Do you serve these in your house? I've only cooked them a couple of times (probably using directions on the bag) but I just can't bring myself to like them.
I just googled it and saw one poster said to cook them in a crockpot with chicken broth to cover...

Some vegetables just don't take well to being frozen, and green beans top the list and I love them they are to me like fresh stemed still crisp but tender I don't like frozen green beans to commercial....

I have been doing this for a while but wanted to share with those who have not tried roasting green beans yet. I use the frozen Haricot Vert from Trader Joe's (thinner string beans). I cover a baking sheet with tinfoil, throw on a few handfuls of frozen...

I have some of the TJ's haricot verte in my freezer---I'll try them today .
Put put frozen green beans in a sauce with green beans.
My husband makes an awesome green recipe.
To roast frozen ones.

My favorite way to eat green beans is steamed then ....
They have enough flavor plain that I don't need them swimming that and did try it once with green beans.
Canned Seasoned Green Beans are great.

I just leave my green and freeze.
Also, frozen green beans are easier to puree than fresh for some reason.

French Fried Green Beans Fresh Green beans, throw them in the deep fryer just to get them crispy. Sprinkle salt on them, Oooh La La!

Ive read that the dry beans you get at the store make decent seed. Will they grow properly up north and will freezing the beans hurt them as seed?
