So my battle against my poor consumption figures continues. To recap . . . when I got the car, it had 70k on the clock and had a full service history.
The car was averaging 29mpg over the last few thousand miles according to the OBC.
I got me one of those...

On fuel consumption, in winter on the coast you will always use less than in hotter temps quite often heavy fuel consumption on the EFI V8s is as a result of a failing fuel pump.

i am new Peug 308 vti owner. I have been noticing that the fuel consumption for this car is pretty high. Around 9.5 liter/100km. Is that normal for this car? I am using ron95 - is that why? Will using ron97 be better for fuel consumption?

Of fuel and never fly longer than 30 minutes before I top with thin air....it burns more fuel, the engine has to work harder to keep me up.
And I always fill my tank with close to 5 gals .
