Duramax fuel filter adapter to run a CAT filter?? has any one run this set up? from what i have been reading it filters better then the OEM filter and there less so the plate would pay for its self fast..
Cat filter is 2 micron VS. the OEM at 6 micron...

10K keeps performance up on mine and I carry an extra filter in the event of bad fuel.
They say you can go longer but I don't.
: $100 over 100k is if you change your fuel filter every 10k miles like I do.

i have tried searching the forum and google to find any help, but no luck!
i have a transit 2.2 130ps 07plate.
i have start problems where id be cranking over for about 5-6 secs, turn off and crank again for about another 3 secs...

As and would be 600 to replace, anyway,i noticed there was not much fuel in the filter spy glass so,i noticed there was not much fuel in the filter spy glass so i knew if it was a pump fault the fuel would.

I was told from the firm that the fuel filter is located in the tank and it is connected to the fuel pump, so to change the fuel filter you hadda change the fuel pump as well...now i personally think that is a pile of crap..but can anyone confirm this...

So its prob best that you disconnect that filter and run an external fuel filter somewhere more IS THAT LS MOTORS TOLD ME THAT THE FUEL FILTER IS INTEGRATED INTO THE FUEL PUMP SO IN ORDER TO CHANGE OF AN EXTERNAL....

Nothing wrong with ryco The CRD fuel filter is pretty specific remember what I paid for the fuel filter when I asked for it to be replaced during the last service Nissan Fuel FILTER....

As you have a filter on the chassis leg can I assume you have the mechanical fuel pump on the engine the SJ tank has no internal fuel filter.

Does anyone here know where the fuel filter resides and how often it should be changed? I see no mention of it being maintained in the owners manual. I do all my own maintenance. There has to be a fuel filter especially with injectors.
