Yep, now that the fuel pump is putting out 44 pounds pressure when it was putting out 25 at the rail my fuel mileage has dropped from 24 to 16...ouch!

Not really, I am just the opposite, I can usually get better mileage appear to be in line, looks like I....
I did just check the fuel mileage ratings for this car and this doesYour foot is made out of lead.
But now also very thirsty.

...so is anyone else noticing the 2-3 mpg drop in fuel mileage since the winter blends apparantly came out...or is my fuel system dying...?

I've been checking mine every tank since i bought that the oil company made to make to drop our MPG and make us buy more fuel, All the while we think its just because of the temperatures....
The switch to low sulfur fuel dropped it as well.

I recently changed my injection pump went from 045 to 046 ho and fuel mileage droped 6 miles to the gallon is this common?

I know this sounds crazy, but my fuel mileage recently jumped from 13-14 mpg to 17-18 mpg.
The ONLY modification was
Switching from Shell to Chevron.
Who would of thought that the brand of gas would make such a HUGE difference ?

I am now into my second tank of 89 octane and it does seem to run better with better mileage over like this car ...
Plenty it.
I prefer to use 93 octane as it does seem to get better gas mileage.
The engine run cooler.
