So I was trying to convert from electric pump to mechanical pump and I took off the block off plate and found that there was already a push rod installed but it was really hard to move I had to Crank the motor till the first cylinder was at the top and...

Also, how would a fuel pump rod become bent? if its an all steel rod the lobe....
It isn't possible, but I have never seen or heard of a fuel pump rod wiping the lobe off the camshaft be the last thing to go.

I built a buggy using a 2006 gsxr 600 engine. The bike used an INTANK fuel pump and did not require a return fuel line I am using an in line fuel pump and will require a RETURN fuel line to the fuel tank.
Can anyone tell me the best way to install a return...

Between the filter and stock fuel rail put a T on ....
Put the fuel filter after the pump.
A 12 volt INLINE electric fuel pump (summitt racing) rated at 45 psi, and will use a regulator from the tank to the pump.

Here I go with another "first" for me. I have removed the old fuel pump from my 327 engine so I can install a new Edelbrock 1721. The old pump worked just fine but I've learned that Eddy carbs are quite sensitive and need the correct amount of fuel pressure...
