Having spoken to Jim , im missing a rod that catches the cam to pump the fuel pump any one have a spare ,dont know how long it is guessing 3 inches or so 1983 6B

Not all cams have the fuel pump lobe.You change the cam to one with the pump lobe? Does that second bolt hole up on the front of the block have a bolt in it? maybe its a tad long touching the rod..? no....

As to the the fuel pump rod, I have never ran a mechanical pump Type lV as the oil pump are correct then I would not use the pressure bypass springs to bring up the oil pressure case, so....

Anybody know where I can find a new block plug used to install or remove the fuel pump rod on BBC's? Or, do you know the dimensions of the plug (1/2" NPT pipe thread?). The original has a square head. I'd like to find one. I checked several of the catalogs...

It is 3/8" NPT Summit offers the....
Hardware stores have them with the square head if that's important to you. .
Probably just a 3/8" NPT pipe plug.
Any hardware store.

Right, got it.
The arm is part of the pump itself, though you will need to make sure the eccentric is on the cam before mounting a mech pump.

It had great pressure from the engine....
fuel tank do you have long lengths of very dangerous rubber hose that are collapising due to pump that drove me crazy with fuel issues, turned out to be a flatened fuel pump lobe.
