My FIL suddenly passed away last Friday. Since then we've had over 300 people come to my MIL's house, visitation and funeral. I've talk to near every single one!
My question....how do you send out thank you's and who gets them? From our funeral package...

I sent cards to those who sent flowers, brought food, and those who visited the funeral home flowers to the funeral home, but honestly, if I go to the funeral home and see for myself for spelling* We sent them to anyone....

With regards flowers or a donation is an acceptable action these days.
Supermarket flowers in their packaging can seem a bit cheap at a funeral.
