Weird title I know, but fuzzy logic means dealing with less than absolute numbers and calculations. Basically assigning our own parameters and then fitting the math into them instead of working with absolute laws (like the basic universal laws of physics...

Either I'm losing it or the If logic is breaking in VS 2008. I have several conditions that look for an ending application boolean but when they are set, the if conditions are being ignored anyhow. The debugger even agrees that condition for my block ...

Take a look at an example implementation....
Imho it works really well.
They have an implementation in PHP, which you can find here .
If it is a very small database, you could load all the data at once and use an algorithm like Jaro-Winkler for your search .

We have people who run code for simulations, testing etc. on some supercomputers that we have. What would be nice is, if as part of a build process we can check that not only that the code compiles but that the ouput matches some pattern which will indicate...
