The New Science of Fuzzy Logic ' from 1994 is readable (and available quite cheaply secondhand via answer) is that "fuzzy logic" is any logic that returns values other than straight true / false, or 1 of the algorithms....
Weird title I know, but fuzzy logic means dealing with less than absolute numbers and calculations. Basically assigning our own parameters and then fitting the math into them instead of working with absolute laws (like the basic universal laws of physics...

My guess is it's volatile, and just because you read it a moment ago doesn't mean it's still got the same value now .
I'd have to see everything that influences sp.IsOpen to come up with a reasonable information .

Came out pretty cool, check it out.
I spent some time taking it apart disabling the heat function sanding it and painting it to match the Control Panel .

Take a look at an example implementation....
Imho it works really well.
They have an implementation in PHP, which you can find here .
If it is a very small database, you could load all the data at once and use an algorithm like Jaro-Winkler for your search .
We have people who run code for simulations, testing etc. on some supercomputers that we have. What would be nice is, if as part of a build process we can check that not only that the code compiles but that the ouput matches some pattern which will indicate...

A good way to ensure that the resulting value of any computation (whether final or intermediate) meets certain ... .
I expect most unit testing frameworks could do this; supply a toy test data set and see that the answer is sane in various different ways .
