国际著名咨询机构普华永道近日发表的研究报告显示，日本的GDP继2010年被中国超越之后，2011年将被印度超越。
普华永道对世界主要国家的GDP规模通过购买力平价标准进行了调整和计算，并特别关注到印度实际经济支配力的增强。报告认为，以购买力平价标准计算，印度2011年的GDP应为4.4129万亿美元，而日本只有4.3223万亿美元。购买力平价是一种根据各国不同的价格水平计算出来的货币之间的等值系数，以对各国的国内生产总值进行合理比较。
