If one of my channels has a red clipping indicator, which remembers that it has clipped by +0.65dB then I simply want to right click on the red clipping idicator and press a button to lower the gain by 0.65dB. Naturally I usually use compressors and...

For one thing, if a track has clipped by +0.65dB, I'd want to reduce the gain by a few dB more than is usually done with a greater resolution (floating point or 64 bit, not sure about Reaper), so channel.

Hi,
two weeks ago I send back my Alpha Channel as a warranty case.
If I turn the Gain pot up to 12 o'clock and more, I got a lot of "dusty" and "crackling" sound.
Today I got a new one. And I'm very surprised, with the same problem !

Made a quick tone test for anyone that may be interested.
Just mic'd up my Mesa cab with the R121 and SM57, chose a random chord progression and quad tracked. Royer and SM57 are on both sides. Both mics 1" off grill cloth. Preamp was chandler TG2.

I played the Vengeance and dug it a LOT when set tight, but interested to see the differences between the highest gain channels on both amps.
I know the Arm is 3 channel, but is the second channel a mid point between the 2 channels on the Vengeance or...

The tone controls and Decimator but each has it's own GAIN, MASTER, TIGHT and BRIGHT switches so you can, in fact, set them to sound very different or the same or But is the second channel on the Vengeance voiced at all like the gain....

How exactly do you set the gain with a DMM on a 2 channel amp?
For example, say I am looking to have it output 30.0 Volts. Should I be getting 30V out of each channel or only 15V out of each? I would suppose it would be 15V but I am not positive.

Single Channel.
If I had the choice, I'd go Dual-Channel vs.
It makes your RAM even faster, even if it's by a small margin .
Dual-channel gives you double the channels for your RAM to do their processing.

"Frequency Limiting" the LFE? (6 channels v. 5.1 channels) I understand that a DVDA disc can hold up to 78 minutes if the source is 6 channels and 100 minutes if the the source is 5.1.
I have about 95 minutes of music I would like to fit on one disc sourced...

I have converted these to MLPs, but Discwelder recognises them as 6 channel by "frequency limiting" the LFE channel, which makes that channel smaller in size.
From 5.1 channel FLACs.
