This thing sounds like a white noise generator on idle.
I appreciate is can run 50C on full load for hours, but damn is it loud.
Are any of the aftermarket cooler quiet? I can get an arctic twin turbo,
but the name is noisey sounding.

Check the temperature of the GPU at load with new fan profile, just make sure it doesn't reach 90C+ .
I would just use MSI afterburner or any program that will let you setup a fan profile and adjust it until your happy with the noise level .

The Invoice pic attached in the main post clearly mentions the date of purchase as 22-08-2011, or 22 August 2011. So the warranty left is less than 4 months. Edit the original post and try not to misguide the interested buyers. This leaves a bad impression...
