I recently DL'd Mieru the Manga viewer and copied over about 700mb of Naruto manga to my nokia n9. Is there anyway to prevent this from showing up in my Gallery?

This sounds like you are linking to a gallery, rather than embedding....
I followed exactly as it's said on the support page regarding "embedding gallery" but it doesn't seems to work for me, the gallery will always open in a separate page.
