I am getting a 10 gallon tank in a couple weeks. I knew that 5.5 gallon was still to small for anything except for my betta lol. I don't know about Fury going into the new tank once I get it, but we will see.

It was a freshwater cichlid setup With shopping for a used tank (that was FW used) make sure it NEVER had any copper based meds used in the tank (silicone tends to absorb it and could leach out when,and if they looked blue-ish vs.

What type of filtration should I use for a 11 gallon rimless tank? Can I use HOB filters like an Aquaclear and a backpack skimmer? This tank will contain live sand and Live rock.

Overkill....
Chemi pure them both with the phosguard.
Plus it turns over more water than an hob filter .
Its a super long heater so I guarantee you can fit a ten gallon not have a box hanging from your tank.
I use a marineland 150w heater.
