Here a link to some pictures of my 10 gallon seed tank, it has a zoanthid frag "Blue Eyed Girls" and several pounds of Totoka Fiji Live Rock and about 7 pounds of kpdual90's Fiji live...

Hey everyone! I am consideing putting a sump on my 55 gallon tank, but the pre-made ones are very expencive, so i wanted to make one myself. I found a cheap 10 gallon tank, only about 30 bucks, and didn't know where to go next.

A 10 gallon tank? and answer the questions above too! Just forget about the "refugium" part for a lot of folks but it does not make sense biologically speaking.

How many neon tetras can i keep in a 10 gallon tank:)? i use to have a 10 gallon tank for my 2 goldfish, but then i got a 20 gallon:). i am thinking about getting neon tetras for the 10 gallon. How much neon tetras can i get for the 10 gallon?

For a 10 gallon you could look into 5-6 guppies in a 20" long ....
While small they're actually very active and really do better in a larger tank.
And a 48 gallon tank Ideally neons should have a 20+ gallon tank.

I wonder if you could drill it for a simple over flow? that would make in the middle of making a 5.5... .
Not sure with an hexagonal tank, but I'm pretty sure it's nothing than a few well glued sheets of acrylic a deep san bed in a hex tank.

HERE IS MY 55 GALLON AQUARIUM SET UP..MEAUSUREMENTS ARE 48x12x18 in inches..cichlids are getting big..So a 120-180 gallon plus I can throw in 50$ cash min-80 max.Tank is in beautiful conditions with no leaks or cracks...but If your tank needs to be resiliconed...

It also hangs ....
It only replaces the 15 gallon tank and does not work if you originally had a 20 gallon tank.
tank is a 21 gallon aftermarket replacement tank for the 15 gallon stock tank.
