GameCube discs, sadly, likely because of the disc mechanism problems with the (old) Wii's hybrid disc there are more Gamecube games on Wii U then there were N64 games on Wii (about 15, I think).

I like the GCN.
The motion and being able to aim with your bow with the Wii Remote was a great way for shooting.
There isn't really a difference between the two except the Wii version is mirrored.
