Hello there! I need some help in deciding what computer I should get.
1:Type
It must be a desktop replacement or gaming laptop
2: Portability
At least 15 inches. Weight is not a problem and neither is girth
3: Capabilities
Minecraft on high settings, ...

But for under 1K you are looking at things you don't drop .
I know its not a gaming laptop say that it does that well.

I can either save up for a gaming laptop, the Sager NP9150, and get it towards the start of college in august. Or, build a really nice(and upgradable) mini-itx rig. There's no way in hell I'm lugging my atx build/heater/jet engine into a dormroom and ...

I find the niche of laptop gaming is currently under abuse a 'gaming' laptop, if you're going to spend more than $2000, you're spending too much.

All the usual caveats apply here about shorter lifespan.
Bob Is the Asus K43SM almost the same with the
Acer Aspire V3-471G-52454G50 gaming that's not a bad choice.
And the downsides of laptop gaming.

Vita seems pretty expensive but if you compare it to gaming laptops and other devices there is no comparison at the 250 dollar range what do you think, i think if it has the right games like shooters obviously there will be no competition in the 250 dollar...

I have a laptop with decent specs that I use for gaming laptop is substantially....
Obviously it's all down to what you need overall, really .
A decent gaming laptop will set you back atleast $800.
Have to buy them pre-built.

A mate of mine asked if he could get a decent Laptop for gaming for under $950. Nothing spectacular, just able to play recent-ish games like L4D2. Anyone want to give him some advice?
