Inspired by MSL to go ahead and share some of my early attempts at macro photography. Having a ton of fun experimenting! All of these were shot over the last few days using my K-r with a Vivitar 70-210mm f/4.5 that I got as part of a lot from goodwill...

Since I started working on my Dodge Dart about 4 years ago, the Pumpkin lost it's home and had been stored outside. For three years the Mustang was stored outside under a cover. Since the Dart has been finished, I moved the Mustang back into the garage...

This is where you focus on a car/bike/kart etc and while the background is blurred for that "speeding effect", the object you photograph is nice and sharp.
This is not to be confused with rolling shots and most of the time with rolling shots the camera...

Finally managed to get out with the camera this evening to get my first shots of the new Mk2.
Stayed local but fortunately the old clay works buildings made for an alright backdrop. Expect plenty more!

Hey guys, I just closed on my new house. My house warming present to myself is having the garage floor polished and colored.
