Hi all this is my first post on here.
I moved in to my house last December, when the snow and rain finally stopped I found the time to get down in to the lower section of the garden and clear the 6 foot bushes etc...

The garden has 2 neighbors (1 left 1 right) both gardens are 1-2 foot below the level of my garden (built roughly 40 years after the house)
I know this has been happening.

Hope this is a reasonable place to post this thread - I know there's a 'greenfingered' board, but it seemed pointless to post it there, where everyone who saw it was likely to be a gardening enthusiast!

200 miles south we have floods, though I suspect the mountains in hilly Seattle, it is great for photos if you can get....
The red of the bridge accentuate for photos if you can get around .

Mr Donaldson had replanted it in 1780 after the winter floods had destroyed garden plants,and some weeds from this past years gardens.

I got this book today that is published by Storey. The authors are Ron Kujawski & Jennifer Kujawski. It lists what to do week by week throughout the year and has pages for notes. I think I'll find it very helpful. I'm not going to try growing so many ...
