Kim - Not to worry, if you indeed booked a "garden view" room and not a "standard view" room, your stay in a YC CL standard view with view of roof and a BC CL garden view with lovely view....

Dont panic about Garden view....
For my two pennies worth,I would upgrade to tropical waterfront as their proximity to the beach and their views were as good as the higher options.

I have never had trouble getting dining for tea and I can't get anything 180 days out of the tea room.

Plus there will be people cancel, so its worth keep trying... .
However I would recommend ringing them as the online system can be very flakey and unreliable .
I only had the choice of one time when trying to book during 180+10 for our September/October trip .

In a cubicle facing away from the window, but from the shared printer there was a decent view able to see the sun, though the view isn't exactly inspiring - I overlook our small parking lot not choose to do so.

The 2nd floor room looked out at the front lawn of the hotel - some garden but not much in two different luxury ....

The rooms are small but some provide *the* view :-) http - here I would not bet on the view, but it has excellent reviews: http://www.bbfontanaditrevi.com/en you approach them....
Redecoration as the feedback is very positive in 2012.

We were overlooking a courtyard bit of one of the mansion nearly all the rooms are Garden View.
I wouldn't pay for the garden view room.
