I had been saving up for a Grand Rapids Sport but Garmin went and lowered the price to what was in the savings....

I happened to look down yesterday and noticed that my Garmin had a display msg saying " lap database full"

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know if the newer Garmin's have a track logging capability?
If possible I want to go 4WDing with the Topo/OzTopo maps, come back and load it into Mapsource/Basecamp and see where I have been.
Possible?

For those of you who have a Garmin, how long does the battery typically last? During the WDW full, the battery on my 405 died before I finished the race. I noticed a low battery warning around mile 21 and then it died just before mile 24.
I'm pretty sure...

When i called garmin about like I should have gotten another 30-60 minutes....
I had the 405 too, and had a similar issue with it bonking out bonking earlier and earlier until i finally realized it wasn't just me .
I would call garmin about it.

I just spotted that Garmin has released new firmware Versions 2.4 and 2.5 for the Aera 795. According to what Garmin says, version 2.4 will have cleared up the nasty bugs that others here have complained about re importing .gpx files from third -party...

I mentioned ScanGauge to one of the Garmin reps XGuage code lists.
The set is similar to what's built into ScanGauge.
