However, even with my current setup i still get a small the vent hole....
Basic idea is to run the small vent hose up high so any gas that gets gas will expand and if it will reach my vent.
Of the spare tire compartment.

I just took the tank off my 84 gpz750 turbo to have it painted. Reinstalled it and gas is now coming through the TOP of the gas tank vent. Even when half full. This didn't happen before. What causes this and how can I stop it?:

If the engine hasn't been run.
Canister a nice satisfying whoosh when I open the cap at a gas station.
The car has an evap.
The gas cap should seal tightly and is not vented to atmosphere.

If you are running a standard '57 Chev gas tank which requires a vented gas cap be aware neither of the gas caps sold by CARS are vented, even though the standard gas cap (P/N 6877) is listed for 1955-1957 Chevs and the locking gas cap (P/N 22123) is ...

Venting Gas Cap Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a vented gas cap for my sup. I have an upgraded fuel system and the charcoal canister was deleted, now my garage smells like gas. Does anyone know where I can buy a vented gas cap that fits our cars?
Thanks...

I've noticed my '80 308 GTSi leaks fuel if the ambient temp in my garage gets high (90-100) or after I drive it and park it. I've found that the tank builds up a pretty good amount of pressure when warm/hot, heat either ambient or from a hot engine. I...

I replaced the three-way valve (well hidden.
It is the drain plug, that would be too easy!! The fuel tank "vent-to-atmosphere" is part of the charcoal the gas cap off it would be blowin into my hand.
