Is there anyway to get better gauge lights the those junk, can't hardly see at night green lights that come stock on an 89??

Yea id like to see them cause I have a hard time seeing - Diesel Truck Resource Forums I have green lights in my 93 and they are stock.

To start off, i have a 2008 ram and tonight as i got in to make my way home i turned on the lights and notice the battery voltage gauge and part of the rpm gauge is out. my truck has 70k and when i bought the truck it came with an extended bumper...

The light left the entire top half gauge cluster....

Lights flicker, turn off sometimes.
They have been usually pitch black, but sometimes come.

All the illumination lights you described as being out go through the dimmer....
Make sure it is connected.
I would check the dimmer again.
All of the look good from a visual.
Tails but I dont know what fuse controls the interior dash lights.

I just bought the truck, and the first thing I needed to do was replace some of the lights in the gauge cluster. I'm kind of a nerd, so I changed the main (6) bulbs to LED's.
You will need:

To retrieve the filters, I had to take the front part of the gauge cluster off the LED lights.
I'm going to keep the black gauge is orange and not green.
I like pure white light.
No other reason.
They were the brightest.

For a 55 Corvette is there away to check the light switch controller for the dash board lights. I have replaced the light switch thinking it was the problem, but the dash board gauge lights still dont work.

If you have the dash out, run a short wire from a good ground to the back of... .
This is especially true on a corvette.
Can't remember what the dash looks like in a vette, but the gauge cluster has got to be GROUNDED before lights will work.
