Is there really that much of a quality difference between a generic and a branded PSU ?
I've always used generic ones only because of the huge price gap (where I live, branded PSUs start at about 5 times the price of a generic one).

Any problems, I take back to my supplier.
Personally, I go for the cheapest one that has a voltage output I require for the job, and comes with a good warranty .
Certainly not 5 times as much.

I don't buy much generic stuff at all. Brand names I have to have are Hellman's, Heinz, Del Monte canned vegetables, Charmin, Bounty and Clorox Bleach. I can't stand the smell of generic bleach on my towels...

DH is insisting that he can't use generic Target brand contact solution even though it is $9 a box less than the Renu stuff he usually uses. He says "Renu is made specifically for his type of contacts"

Little are sensitive so....
Use the generic in good health.
I normally use Alcon and ran out it was all the same stuff - often just repackaged with a name brand.
I use the generic Target brand and don't notice any difference.

I feel like I've read that the generic XR and brand XR are exactly the same. I am not sure about that though.
I have noticed a couple of differences, and I am not sure that they are all bad, just...different.
There is definitely less of a high. A week...

I even had my husband give me one and not tell me if it was brand or generic.
When I switched to generic, I had a few brand left.
I've taken both Shire and Global XR.
