I would still advise using a condom.
You can get one at your local pharmacy.

A condom doesn't cover it.
One you get There is no way to protect against genital herpes.

If you do have genital herpes, it would be more likely to be hsv1 genitally than hsv2. The only way to prove this is with a lesion culture and typing of active symptoms. since your partner also has hsv1 himself, not really an issue if you do other than...

Were you present in order to transmit hsv1 from the oral area to the genital area through oral sex.
=/ many things can cause recurrent genital ulcers, just herpes is the most common cause.

I just found out I have HSV1 genital herpes but it took 3 years to detect by swab test. Why? So I was tested for herpes back in 2010 both blood and swab test... Blood test showed HSV1 genital herpes showed negative until now 2012.... I tested for HSV1...

Ok, so sadly to say I have genital herpes. My question is can I give it to my girlfriend from only kissing her and having oral sex with her. We have not done anything else and at no times have I ever had any mouth sores when we kissed.

It is possible that you have herpes, but these symptoms, with no lesions of any kind or redness makes herpes far less likely, in my opinion.
Would the friend agree to herpes antibody testing?

Your symptoms really don't sound like herpes, which causes entirely different symptoms than deeper infections like pimples and abscesses. And gynecologists are highly familiar with all such conditions, so...
