All IR and Politics required courses are the same until 3rd/4th year but maybe you'll skip some due to joint honors? I'm not sure how that works .

Plus, degrees do it correctly etc.
Degrees don't relate directly to your experience and knowledge, they're just a base of what you may know.
And haven't even got a degree, yet they're on jobs paying £75k a year.
