The amount of trouble shooting that accompanies the first steps towards GMod module writing is in no way justified by the result, but nonetheless I have to get this working.

You should really use the ILuaInterface that comes #include "GMLuaModule.h" GMOD....
Towards GMod module writing is in no way justified by the result, but nonetheless I have to get how to write GMod modules? It looks interesting.

I a weapon code as a lua file saved in
<myusername>\garrysmod\garrysmod\lua
but the weapon isn't showing up in the game. Anything I'm doing wrong? I just took the chair_thrower weapon from the wikia instructions and tried putting it into the game...

Will we be able to use the models in Gmod anytime soon? what i most would like to use are the transport tubes that we get sucked into during the game. I like the curves and what not. I'm building something now with the old tubes but only having a 90 deg...
