Hey guys. I was wandering if its worth getting the psp even though the Vita is here next month. I like games such as Kingdom hearts and FF 7 but will these be on the vita aswell or just the psp?

They're fairly cheap, but if you think you'll get a Vita....
Get a PSP for much available to download, you may want to consider getting a PSP.
I would say yes.
But then again you won't be able to play Vita games.. .

Well the emulator boots up and recognises roms on my phat PSP with lastest firmware, but when you try to start it, I got TOS file not found"
Well I tried a few 1000 TOS files and renamed them to TOS.ROM but still nothing getting annoyed now

I haven't been on my PSP since 2007 but when I saw a sale on the PSN store via my PS3 I decided to purchase some games which are also PSP compatible. Upon attempting to copy those games on my PSP I was told I needed to update yet received an error...

and which cfw did you flash your psp using hellcats? from what m33-4 it should appear in the GAME menu once you copy it to ms0:/psp/game
if keycleaner doesn't work then you need pb+mms to fix this.

The Playstation Vita is an awesome bit of portable kit, it really is. I've never tried or touched one so I'm just guessing.

Yet when you get designated PSP games, you readI think that the PSP gets a lot of needless stick too.
Though it has been hampered by too many PS2 ports .

So, as the topic title implies, I've ordered a PSP. Specifically, a 3004 flashed with CFW 6.39 PRO.
I've already gathered that I won't be able to access PSN with this (Which is fine, I don't trust digital downloads so wouldn't buy anything through it ...

Of what I know, everything works....
If not, 480x272 .mp4 (bitrate between 500 and 1100) with .AVC/.MP3 sound should do you fine .
All converters have a PSP setting.
Running emulators on a CFW PSP means just copying a folder onto the handheld.

I figured there were other people who have asked this question but my fairly brief skim yielded no results.
My son is saving up for a PSP and of course has the decision of getting the PSP 3000 or the PSP Go. I know that the 3000 can use UMD games but ...

If you're dead set on a PSP i'd get a 3000 over a Go planning on a standard....
If I could get more for them on a trade in I'd trade them in but GS won't give in the PSP library are available for download.
