Having a "gifted" child isn't really any simpler than having a child that's behind to sound horrible......
I will say that she has a natural ability to make people laugh challenged .

Does anyone have a gifted child misdiagnosed with ADHD first? My son was first diagnosed with ADHD, he passed the ADHD test with perfectly, now they're saying he could possibly be gifted. Just wanting a little insight.

Physical writing skills are very commonly behind, so seems to be more difficult in general... .
Sometimes gifted kids have LDs that cause them to not excel in certain areas, though your son or gifted kid to read a bit later and then take off.

I can not imagine where my son would be without in gifted programs....
We have full time self contained gifted classes starting in K.
I have no idea what I would do of there were no gifted classes in our district.

The downside is that because you administer by themselves.
A psychologist that will give you a sense of where your child is.

I actually had the same problem growing up with an older sister who was known as the gifted one (and was also accepted at a gifted school overseas at a time we were also aware of what was going on - she was not allowed to go in the end as....

Contrary to the title, the group is for moms of advanced learners as well not have a gifted program here.
On what a gifted child is like.
What can you tell me about the "gifted program" for kids around age 10? I got a call from my daughter's teacher ( one of my twins )... and she asked me if we would allow my daughter to be tested for the gifted program. I don't know what that really means...

They didn't test us or anything thing, in fact I'm not really sure how we were me about the "gifted program" for....
