There were two glass coke bottles that looked old but im no expert, so industrial westinghouse fan for $3 and an assortment of telegraph insulators an old glass clorox by the glass it was old.....
And the 2 blue ones were big.

I have been playing with slumping bottles and it is fun even in my small kiln (even a budweiser bottle is too large). I am having a problem removing the glue from the bottles. I soak the bottles and the labels come off ok but there is a residue of glue...

White spirit also works just....
Unfortunately not all bottles bottles (down the sink unfortunately ) and I fancied doing some slumping there are some more.
The bottles where you soak them and the label comes off nicely and floats away.

glass comtainers take less energy to recycle because they are pretty much.
Solar power could be used to melt glass to make new containers.
glass can be crushed and turned back into sand if necessary.

We have been using the Nuk Glass bottles the Nuk Glass bottles ( new, wideneck) with the Pigeon nipples for over 1 year now without any problems, but I swear by Dr Browns....
But the Pigeon wideneck just fit.
The Nuk teats either.

Who is going to use them? I'm getting the Evenflo manual pump for my shower, and I already received the glass Evenflo bottles as a gift. The bottles will fit perfectly in the pump, so I could do it like that. I'm just curious as to how many people are...

I prefer glass but in a pinch the regular BPA free plastic Born Free bottles are nice too.
I am to help with gas.
If we had needed bottles more often or needed a bigger size, we'd have gotten glass.

Hey guys what would you generally consider a decent price for a case of bottles, simple glass pop top ones? Don't want to stiff a fellow brewer but would hate to overpay for some.

I think I want to get Evenflo Glass Bottles. I would also like to try a variety of nipples to see what works for our baby when s/he comes.
I have found some Amazon reviews and scattered internet threads that touch on this topic, but I am not too sure ...
