If your ceiling were at 11 - 1....
This will give you a fully absorptive ceiling which you will need for the CR and for tracking drums...
For both the control room and the tracking room, I would recommend removing the dropped ceiling.

We're looking at buying a house and the surveyors report states that the ceiling in the garage is asbestos cement. (House was built in 1960's).

Does anyone know how to create a round skylight type dome for the ceiling? I noticed that you cant just use a skylight and make it circular like you can with regular polylines, nor use polylines to turn them into skylights, only holes in the ceiling, ...

The thread is strong enough to hold the FG B-36, and is nearly invisible against the white ceiling powerdrive a 3" screw into a ceiling....
The pins small size cause negliglible damage to the ceiling (if necessary, a drop of paint would hide.

Regarding the difficulty of auditioning in-ceiling speakers you are righ there too.
I would expect the MA speakers to give a good familiar with the brand you are using though .
It's quite difficult to do this with ceiling speakers.
