I tried my hand at some light painting, we used those small glow sticks that they sell at the dollar store for kids partys. These were the bracelet size although I'm sure the longer ones would work just as well. Of course we did it at night, in the basement...

I think what makes this shot especially impressive is the curvature of the light (from the arm) and the straight lines from the glowstick intersecting... .

I got a ton at the dolor store ..necklaces and bracelets ..can they go. in carry on.some r pretty thick..r they like. old kind u break to light up..do they only last 1 night. sort sounds dumb but we used to put in fridge i think..nd them for dark rides...

I think they are brighter too.
There are no glow sticks that can fly out of the ball.
- Glow sticks hanging from the 150/100 markers (and 50 if you have them)

So after seeing those glow wheels, which I do think are way over the top I decided to ask them if they did a more sensible cap only version (without all the wheel LEDs)
Seems they do, so I've decided to knock up a design and have sent it off to them.....
